Shining Moments (or maybe lack there of)
I had rehearsal last night for Beauty and the Beast. Tracy and Hayden went to Mom Barlow's to watch her while dad went to a meeting (she is not doing well). Tracy and I are pretty scared she will not make it to May. She is 95 pounds and not eating anything. She will die of malnutrition before the cancer actually takes her. Anways----I came home about 10:30 and Tracy told me the following story: Ron (tracy's dad) gave Hayden a package of those little crumb donuts when Ron got home for him helping to clean Grandma's house. Tracy told him he couldn't eat them till today because he had already had a treat at Grandma's. When they got home Hayden asked Tracy if he could hide the donuts. Tracy asked if he wanted to hide them to play a game (like hide and seek the donuts?) Hayden told him," No if I don't hide them then Mom will eat them all while I am at school." So...........................not my best and most shining moment. My son is aware of my addictive/complusive eating behavior and is now hiding his food from me. This is a sad, sad day (okay maybe a little funny too, I seriously was laughing my butt off last night).

Howdy Barlow's! I'm glad to see you guys are doing the blogging thing too! Macy and I both have one. Hers is robisonfamilyramblings.blogspot.com and mine is allabouttheallens.blogspot.com. Love the blog!
Laughing so hard! I know it's not our best moments when family calls us on eating all the good food. Kyle has come home from work more than once to find that some goodie or sweet is gone. It's embarrassing. But, he's not the one home all day. :)
