Conference
I am going to admit something that I am not very proud of. Sometimes I dread General Conference. I am seriously lacking in sooooooo many areas of my life that I just can't handle feeling guilty. But this weekend was just the opposite for me. I was inspired and uplifted (which I believe is what conference is supposed to do right?) I love President Monson. I love anyone who can tell a good story but then he has this wonderful ability to turn it right around and bring the spirit of the message he is reaching for. I am so excited to learn from him and help my children learn to love and revere him. I was laughing so hard during his final address and then 10 seconds later I was crying for his touching comments. I also loved Elder Ballard's talk. When he started my walls went up and my alarm said, " here comes a guilt provoking "Mothering" talk: WARNING, WARNING!!!! (not because he inteneded that way but I have issues) but I again found myself so inspired by what he said. I think he really understands what modern-day mothers are going through. It is sooo different from what mom's faced even 10-15 years ago. (if one more 50-60 mother says to me: "well I handled it" or "I did it when I was a mom" I may scream. They had completely different challenges then we do. They handled them their way but we can't handle them the same way. We can't even send our kids outside to play without worrying whether they will come back. Okay- now I am ranting and I didn't mean too. It was a long weekend for me with lot's of different emotions. But I do love President Monson and look forward to his years for us to follow.

I loved Elder Ballard's talk as well!! It made me cry! Okay- go to pyzam.com and look for blog templates! There is a spot that you can hit the arrow and look at the most popular ones. call me when you get there I can walk you through it!
I loved Elder Ballard's talk, too! In fact I was planning on blogging about it but wanted to wait for the talk to come out online to quote from it. Anyway, seriously loved it. And I use pyzam, too! Good place.

i think we might have swapped rolls on the whole conference attitude this year. it was great, don't get me wrong. and there were lots of great talks, just to me. but, that just means i have lots of work to do, or should i say humbling to do.
