We have a tradition (along with 50 thousand other people) of going down and seeing the lights on Thanksgiving Weekend. Usually we go with other family but this year it was just the four of us and we had so much fun. It was unusually warm and we had a blast spending the day together.

Hi friend... so I've been thinking about your comment(s). First, about ALIAS. I KNOW. Srsly, in another life, I was a secret agent. Like, with killer karate skills and multiple personalities for whichever spy situation came my way. I wish I was Sydney Bristow. Okay, now as far as reads are concerned: You may like Shannon Hale's Austenland--it's a spinoff of P&P. I didn't really care for it, but lots of my friends did (it was just a little too fluffy...). The best romances I've read in the past year are A Very Long Engagement by Sebastien Japrisot and The Time Traveller's Wife by Audrey Niffenegger. AVLE is fabulous, very clean, like a mystery as the pieces come together. The movie with Audrey Tatou is also wonderful. TTW is profane, but so gut wrenchingly fabulous. I heart that book. Of course, Twilight, but you know about that. On my list to read is The Painted Veil--I loved the movie and the love story is just great. And one more I was thinking about today is Two From Galilee, which is an oldie but a goodie about Mary and Joseph. Anyway, I'll keep waiting for inspiration to strike me, but those are some titles to go hunt down. I wish you many happy reads! And if you are in love with Jane Austen's world, you might just dive into the fan fiction that's spun off P&P. I understand a lot of it is actually pretty good.
