Crazy Crazy!!

I have been getting cused for not updating my blog (I know it annoys me too when others don't). It is not out of lack of want- just time. The week of funeral put me a little behind schedule but I feel like I am beginning to get my feet under me again. Until next week when Beauty and the Beast starts it's insanity. We had two shows in the last week. My CentreStage did our big Spring Concert; "A Broadway Spectacular" and I have to say I was crazy proud my my kids. Not only my students but my two little ones, they were so great. Everyone seemed so pleased (which is very necessary since I need them all to come back next year). These photos are not great (Tracy is the best photographer) but here is a shot of the kids singing.

We also had their Spring Dance Concert. Anna did a fun ballet dance to "Will Rogers Follies" and Hayden's ballroom class did a great Swing dance to Sing! Sing! Sing! It is so much fun to watch my kids perform. Anna has taken to it like a duck to water-- she loves it!! Hayden is still deciding if he likes it or not. He kind of is a Pettingill and likes the Sports which I think is great too. He wants to play football this fall which I cannot decide if I am ok with that. My dad was always a little leary with my brothers and I am too, my Dad was a football coach and knows what a bad coach can do to a kid. If I can get him on the team with his soccer coach from last year I would be ok with him playing. I just know because of his size they will put him on the line and frankly I don't know if he will like getting knocked on his butt over and over. I guess I will let him try and see. He can't do soccer and football because they are at the same time so I guess we will see what he chooses. Tracy is dying he may have to sit through a football game, I LOVE IT!!!! I will be the sports parent in our family and I am so OK with that. Here are another couple of photos of the Dance concert:

Sounds like you are busy w/ shows. Your kids are adorable and great sports. I love that you don't pressure them. I already know that will not be my strength as a parent! :)

I love all the fun things Hayden and Anna are doing! It's so neat to watch them grow and find their little niche. Anna belongs in the theatre department for sure!! :) Tough decision for Hayden, though. I'm pretty sure Kyle would say soccer! :)

At least Hayden has the size to play football. When Brock started asking we just said, Uh, No!!
He then took up running which is pretty much a lot safer.
Kids are crazy fun to have around aren't they?
